As per revised UGC Statement, NET/SET/SLET will be minimum qualification for applying Assistant Professor Recruitment. Candidate who holds phd will also be eligible without qualifying NET/SET/SLET for the direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor for all Higher Education Institutions.
