Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Sri Aurobindo University





Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology,

or a closely related discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% (or equivalent CGPA). Those

holding a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 65% and a valid GATE/NET qualification

are also considered eligible. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate a solid foundation

in analytical techniques, enzyme kinetics, and protein chemistry.

Entrance Exam for Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Sri Aurobando University





Sri Aurobindo University conducts its own entrance examination for Biochemistry Ph.D.

candidates. The test comprises three sections:





  • Section A – General Aptitude (Logical reasoning, quantitative ability).


  • Section B – Core Biochemistry (Metabolism, molecular genetics, structural biology).
