- Qualifying score in a recognized national level entrance test (GATE, UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET, or DIT University Ph.D. Entrance).
- For candidates with only a B.E./B.Tech (10+2+4 system), a minimum of 65% aggregate is required and must qualify for the Ph.D. Entrance Exam.
