• •According to the UGC Guidelines 2023, anybody who has earned a four-year bachelor's degree in any subject with a minimum of 75% of the total available points or an equivalent grade is qualified to apply for a PhD program.The University Grants Commission on 31st July, 2023 has issued the University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) (3rd Amendment) Regulations, 2023.

 1)Anyone who has successfully completed a four-year bachelor's degree program in any subject with a minimum of 75 percent overall marks or its equivalent grade is eligible for a PhD program, according to UGC Guidelines 2023.

4) For all regularly scheduled undergraduate, graduate, and research courses. Three years and two years are the minimum course length requirements.

1. All normal courses provided at the undergraduate, post-graduate, and research levels have a three-year minimum course length and a two-year minimum course length, respectively. To guarantee, this new regulation has been put in place. that students may finish a program in a fair amount of time.

 5) At least 50% of the available seats in all PG programmes should be eligible for approval by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

6) According to the requirement, PhD candidates had to submit at least one research article for peer evaluation to a UGC-accredited publication. Prior to submitting the dissertation or thesis for review.
